In a wilding project humans behave as keystone species, mimicking the functions and processes of wild ecosystems. Translate this to a garden context and one of the gardener’s primary functions becomes that of a herbivore, pruning and thinning plants to ensure the system remains balanced and thriving. I’m just glad I don’t have to graze with my teeth.
